Mild-mannered scientists, editors and office workers by day … by night, we are the Pork Filled Players (and Pork Filled Productions)!
Since 1997, the Pork Filled Players has been redefining Asian American humor for audiences of every race, creed and gender. PFP is one of the most diverse sketch comedy groups in Seattle, featuring an awesome majority of female writers and performers, blending their unique brand of nerdish humor with maximum tongue-in-cheekiness and an Amazing Kung-Fu Grip!.
Pork Filled Productions is the theater offshoot of the long-running
sketch comedy group, The Pork Filled Players. Pork Filled Productions
is the oldest Asian American drama group in the Pacific Northwest. PFP pushes the boundaries of Asian American theatre by
tackling non-traditional subject matters for Asian American theatre,
ranging from sketch comedy to steampunk to supernatural romantic
comedies to kung fu zombie Shakespeare farces.
Pork Filled Productions is powered by Shunpike.
(Shunpike is the 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that provides independent arts groups in Washington State with the services, resources, and opportunities they need to forge their own paths to sustainable success.)
